Mild Tteokbokki Carbonara
Our Mild Tteokbokki Carbonara is comfort food with a playful twist. Soft, chewy rice cakes coated in our creamy, indulgent mild Tteokbokki sauce with just a hint of spice. It’s rich, satisfying, and surprisingly addictive—perfect for cozy nights or when you just need a little culinary hug.
Ingredients
Servings: 2 Prep I Time: 5 minutes I Cook Time: 10 minutes
- 200 g Tteok (soaked in warm water)
- 2 tbsp Bibap Manufacture Mild Tteokbokki Sauce
- 1 leek
- 1/2 onion
- 2 tbsp cheddar cheese
- Black pepper, to taste

Preparation
- Heat the Bibap Manufacture Mild Tteokbokki Sauce and stir. Meanwhile, cut the onion and the leek.
- Add the soaked rice cakes to the pan and let them simmer slowly for several minutes. Stir frequently so they soften evenly and the sauce thickens into a creamy coating. After seven to eight minutes, the rice cakes should be tender and pleasantly chewy.
- Add the onion and leek and continue to cook briefly.
- Once the rice cakes are ready, turn off the heat and stir in the cheese. The warmth of the sauce will melt it into a rich, velvety mixture.
- To finish, season with a little black pepper and serve the dish hot.
