    Korean Spicy Chicken Nuggets

    • 300g chicken breast, cut into small nugget-sized pieces
    • ½ cup chickpea flour or whole wheat flour
    • 1 beaten egg
    • 1 cup panko or whole wheat breadcrumbs
    • 3 tbsp Bibap Manufacture Korean Crispy Chicken Sauce
    • olive or vegetable oil for frying or baking
    • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

    Preparación

    1. We begin by seasoning the chicken pieces with a little salt and pepper. Then we coat each piece step by step: first in flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally in panko. We press the crumbs on gently so they hold well and become extra crisp later.
    2. For frying, we heat a little oil in a skillet and cook the nuggets until they are golden and fully done, usually a few minutes on each side. For a lighter option, we preheat the oven to 200°C and place the nuggets on a parchment-lined tray. With a small drizzle of oil, they bake for about fifteen to twenty minutes, and we flip them once so they crisp evenly.
    3. While the nuggets finish, we warm the Bibap Manufacture Korean Crispy Chicken Sauce in a separate pan. If we want a thinner glaze, we add a small splash of water. Once the sauce is ready, we add the cooked nuggets and toss them until they are coated all around.
    4. To serve, we enjoy them hot and finish with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. They pair beautifully with a fresh salad or a bowl of steamed rice.
    5. For an even lighter version, baking works wonderfully. And when we want something cooling on the side, a simple yogurt dip with a touch of lemon balances the heat perfectly.
