A Culinary Journey Passion and Authenticity
Bibap Manufacture was born from a profound yet simple question: How can the Korean tradition of healthy, natural kimchi be preserved as generations and lifestyles change? Having left her homeland behind, founder Yangsun made it her mission to keep Korea’s deep-rooted culinary heritage alive in Europe. Based in Palma de Mallorca, where she runs a Korean restaurant, she witnessed firsthand the appreciation for authentic Korean cuisine, natural ingredients, and the health benefits of traditional fermentation.
Driven by her passion for jang — the fermented essence of many Korean dishes — she began developing a range of products that combine heritage, health and innovation. Bibap Manufacture creates naturally fermented kimchi, jang and Korean sauces, all made with fresh, locally sourced, organic ingredients. Each product is carefully handcrafted using traditional methods and slow fermentation processes to protect flavour and nutritional value.
For Yangsun, fermentation is more than just a culinary technique; it’s a means of connecting cultures, preserving memories, and providing nourishment. Her training in traditional Korean temple cuisine and her many years of experience working in professional kitchens influence every recipe, striking a balance between authenticity and modern creativity.
